An East African Safari, a dream of a lifetime

An East African Safari is the ultimate safari experience. Experience the wild life and sceneries from the safari parks in Kenya, the city of Mombasa, and the unspoiled exotic beaches.

The wildlife and sceneries of an east African safari in Kenya as one have experienced or might experience on their first or next safari is an incredible journey. From dawn to dusk the wild life of east Africa is breathtaking. Kenya is also the home to The Big Five. This is what everybody talks about and wants to see when going on safari. The Big Five is the Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, and the Rhino.

The Big Five got their name from the old days where these animals were the ultimate goal for a hunter to bring down. These animals are considered the most dangerous and the toughest to hunt. The best time of the year to see the big five is from July to October. To have the best chance at seeing the big five it is recommend visiting more than one park.

Safari experiences are possible almost all over Kenya, the experiences are varied. It is therefore natural to get different experiences by visiting different parks. The most famous safari park in Kenya is Masai Mare, with its large savanna that lies on the border to Tanzania in the southwestern part of Kenya. This is the place for a lot of animals. Another magnificent safari park is Amboseli, with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background offers a unique nature and wildlife experience. A stay at a Tree Top lodge gives the opportunity to get really close to the wildlife. No matter what, Kenya will give a unique safari experience for life.

An East African Safari is an unforgettable experience that one should at least experience once in a life time. Going to the zoo to watch animals is one thing, but be out close in the wildlife's natural habitat is something completely else.
