MV Ufunguo, an artificial coral reef from a scuttled trawler is a perfect wreck diving spot in the northern point of Diani. The wreck has since split open and the hull is now a massive haven for sea life and coral.

Dhow trips A full day water safari dhow trip is arranged to the Wasini Island off Shimoni. Lunch is served at the Charlie?s claw restaurant on Wasini. Dolphin will usually escort the dhow in the marine park and visitors are able to snorkel with the dolphins from the dhow.

The Shimoni area has carved a name for big game sport fishing at the Kenyan coast. Available are the main game fish caught including Kingfish, Wahoo, Sailfish and Marlin, Horse Mackerel and others. The Pemba Channel Fishing Club in Shimoni offers big game fishermen all the necessary information on big game fishing. A tag and release programme is strictly adhered to ensure eco-friendly fishing practice. The season for big game fishing is usually December through March.
